Everyone welcome to...
Each of you have been gathered to take part in our biggest and most competitive game yet.
If you look closely, throughout five seasons over almost three years, we've been to many different locations here on Sausage Island. Season one began with us off the coast, approaching the island. In season two, we hit the beach, and in season three we ventured into the thick jungle. Season four we took a pit stop at the cove for Fans vs. Favorites, and in our last season we continued up the island along the stormy cliff sides.
Each season, we've progressed further and further up Sausage Island. It has all led here, to the volcano.
After taking Brett's hand due to a Lex victory in Sausage Island V, I burned the coveted episodes and tossed them into the mouth of the dormant volcano.
And now, the volcano has been provoked. Something inside stirs and has ruptured due to the season one episodes and all of our Top Sausage data that I also dumped in there.
Now, Sausage Island is in peril. The volcano is beginning to erupt, and the island is being destroyed. My bad.
This is where we find ourselves. Brett, myself, and 35 of our favorite players are back for one final game in an attempt to survive the destruction of Sausage Island. This is truly the end.
Tonight, the journey begins. But first...a tease!
This means little to you now, but Mount Andouille will come into play in several days. Many of you will get the opportunity to venture into the mouth of the dangerous volcano in an attempt to find treasures that may save your life in this game.

NOTE on the three who haven't shown yet. Phillip was around earlier and said he will be registering tonight. Christa and Neleh had previously confirmed but they're running out of time. They are around and want to play, we just gotta get in touch with them in time. If they don't show by noon tomorrow, we have two great replacements (one original All Star) waiting to take over. So hang tight on that!

Tonight, we have important things to get to. Captains!
FIVE Captains!
You will all be split into five tribes of seven. By the end of the night, we will have our five tribes. I know you're all anxious to figure out what they are.
Let's get to it!
Tonight, the thirty five of you have been placed in a large mud pit arena, while Brett and myself stand safely atop a platform.
In this thread, Brett and I will be launching slippery, lubed up sausages down into the arena. Your goal is to be the first to claim a sausage. In order to claim, as SOON as you see a sausage, you must post the following:
"[NAME] grabs sausage"
Each round, we'll shoot out a predetermined number of sausages. There won't, however, be as many sausages as there are players. At the end of each round, a player left without a sausage will be eliminated from the challenge. A new round will then begin, and everyone must attempt to claim a new sausage.
The amount we shoot out will lessen and lessen, eliminating more and more players every round.
A small twist!
The golden sausage. Each round, one or more of the sausages will be a golden sausage. The player who happens to claim the golden sausage each round must then make a choice. At the end of each round, the player with the golden sausage must choose to eliminate someone from the challenge. That means they will be choosing someone who had caught a sausage for that round.
Eliminating someone from the challenge prevents that person from becoming Captain, and denies them the perks that come with it. You may also eliminate someone who you believe would eliminate you, or simply someone who you believe will beat you to a sausage later on and force you out. Choose wisely!
The golden sausage will be placed randomly in each round. If a sausage is tossed up, but it's not the golden sausage, will you go for it? Or will you risk it and wait for the golden sausage for a chance to eliminate someone? Which may result in you not being able to claim one in the first place. The choice is yours!
Rounds will recycle until only five players remain. These are your Captains. However, once we are down to five, the game will continue for a few rounds more in order to determine the order of the Captains, from fifth to first place.
Once the challenge is over, the Captains must immediately meet Brett and myself on AIM. We'll set up a chat room, where the tribe picks will take place. If you become a Captain but do not show up afterwards, you will be replaced with the next person eliminated from the challenge.
Everything will take place here in this thread. Mind you that Proboards decided to put permanent flood control on, because Proboards sucks. You'll have to attempt to claim around that!
The first round will now begin. An undisclosed number of sausages will be launched out. Don't wait too long to grab one!
