Is Elyse's vote a Gatsby reference?

Coach and Shawna put it very well. Coach's words were truly beautiful, I hope he sends them to Jonas when he is out so that he is not as saddened by being the first boot. It is truly sad to see someone like him go. Shawna also makes a good point, she wants him to stay cause he is active but she doesn't know him so she can't stick her neck out for him. I feel like that is the feeling for some of our more "Fair" players, per say.
Also, I am annoyed how many people are bashing Jonas for trying to target Philip and Sekou, especially when half the players who have done it are not even that good. It's like a fat girl calling a curvy girl fat, it just doesn't work.

Holy shit did Alexis doom Jonas because she can't keep her mouth shut?

It looks like it, Elyse's confessional sheds a LOT of light in what actually went down. The funny thing is that she nailed Brandon with that whole thing, because even though it was her idea [which I believe it was, after reading what everyone has said] Brandon is the one to propose it and he is the one on other people's radars. I would DIE if Brandon ends going home because of Elyse after he pretty much told her she was first out. Classic karma.

I hate when people make decisions in a game based on past games, but I guess it's unavoidable.
Edit: I don't mean the other seasons of this series, I'm just talking about other games altogether (i.e. GvsE)

AS Chase 3:16 pm I wanna vote random just to increase paranoia.
Chase voted for Miki. I love that haha. I like that he picked a Pentagon member too, smart thinking.

Not home and a little behind, so I'm only reading the people who don't type a lot up right now: Who da fuck cares about Sekou and Phillip? They will be out of their selective tribes very soon anyways! I have kind of given up on Phillip but I hope that Sekou is the death of her. I'm rooting for her, but i'd love to see Sekou rise up and defeat everyone. More than anything.

I hope Sekou starts to get a bit more credit this season. I realize he's completely ridiculous, BUT, he does more than people think sometimes! Some people say he should go because he isn't here and does nothing etc, which was expected and I understand why. But he showed up and attempted the first Captain's challenge. Some people who noticed that he attempted it were shocked that he finally did it
BUT, he has been here night one to attempt every Captain's challenge in his seasons. In season three he didn't win, but he kicked ass at it tbh. It's always funny that people will remember what they wanna remember. It's interesting to me. Sekou's also been social each night and has been talking to all of his tribemates
It reminds me a lot of what Ted said about Jason when Jason won. He was sarcastically like, "Jason showing up and winning a challenge?!?! WOW..What has this God done with the old God!!!"
It's all about perception and people can't shake their already formed opinions and ideas of what someone's role is supposed to be sometimes. Just because Jason was loyal to Kim and voted with her round after round doesn't mean he can't show up and win a challenge

Jason is actually pretty badass. Badass enough to take Ted's original AS spot.

Chase drew a web on his random Miki vote in order to implicate Cochran. That's hilarious

Eliza's impressing me. She's probably writing the lengthiest confessionals out of everyone
She formed a solid alliance with Sandra of all people, and she found out about the Jonas/Wanda/Vee/Alexis group on her tribe
Now she's forced to try to bring Phillip in with her and Sandra. What a random group. I've been hoping so badly that Phillip and Sandra would either join forces or go head to head. The two are very similar in a lot of ways
I dunno why Eliza said that stuff to you Semhar, about Phillip. You're probably like, Phillip's only true friend in the series haha. Back to the Phillip/Shambo days. Even if he's a pain in the ass for you a lot of the time. You refusing to vote Phillip out and voting for Kim instead during SI4 was one of my favorite moments

A Coach/Eliza alliance is brewing as well. I didn't expect that too much after the way they ended in season four

I think Eliza's trying to erect an army.

I hope all the other "big names" starts to fall and Rory/Sekou/Carter are the final 2.

Eliza seems to think Jonas is unnecessarily causing trouble for Brandon? As far as I am aware, the only thing Jonas has done to Brandon is hosting GvsE.
