Round 1 Confessional

HEY! Sorry I've been a slacker with the confessional so far. I'm here. Late to this party as well! First I'm late to the game, now I'm late to my confessional. I'll have to make sure I'm not late to voting.

I haven't been late in the socializing department. I made sure I jumped right into that.

Yesterday was absolutely insane. Having to meet so many people, having to reconnect with people I already know from ORGs. Draining, I tell ya!

Then we had the challenge and wow wow wow it was difficult! And I got random.org'd out before the final round. UGH. I'd be a damn captain right now if Ibe hadn't eliminated me. I was doing pretty damn well. They can say that challenge was all luck but I used skill in my last two rounds and posted when I saw the hosts posted. It was working So sad.

Sandra didn't get to be a captain which was disappointing because when it got down to the people who were remaining I was only rooting for Sandra and Sydney.

At least Sydney won. And I was lucky enough to get onto Sydney's tribe. SO HAPPY!

And this tribe is just awesome. I like everyone on it that I've talked to. I hope it lasts but I am finding it a struggle to talk to a couple of them.

I like Sydney, Kourtney, Chase the best so far though I gotta work on Chase more so he likes me in return. Shawna and Danielle I'm not too sure about right now and I'd hope Neleh would be the instant outsider on our tribe because she was super late and we all bond in group chats together and she isn't present in them.

Tonight's bombshell has me paranoid beyond belief but I keep hearing it is definitely between Jonas and Phillip now. It sucks because that tribe is the one I have the most connections with and that all means shit if they need to save their own tribe member. They'll target whoever as long as it isn't their tribe. So now I'm worried about that.

But I have to trust my strategy is going to get me through this round. My strategy right now is form one good bond from each tribe.

I want that to be Alexis or Sandra from Tribe 1. Brandon from Tribe 3. Ted or Kim (gotta start working on that) from Tribe 4. And Rob or Carter from Tribe 5.

If I stay on good terms with one or two from each tribe hopefully I'll be good in any switch scenario if I end up with them or can rely on them to ask their former tribemates to have my back.

I'm off all day tomorrow so I'm hoping to stay on top of the big vote. I hope it doesn't shift from Jonas/Phillip.

So far today I spoke with Coach and Alex and they both said the Jonas vote is a lock. I hope that is the case really. It keeps me in the game. It keeps my tribe intact. It removes someone who I consider to be a strong player and an overall threat in the game. Someone I wouldn't really work with probably. It removes an ally from Pete. So it is mostly beneficial to me. The only downfall is that it is someone from Season 5 leaving and I think for the most part we all want to stick together because we are the newbies to the series and it is beneficial for us to try and work together. I have been surprised with how chill everyone has been and nice towards me from last season peeps. I even spoke with Pete and we haven't spoken much at all recently ever since last season. That game really hurt our friendship and it sucks. I honestly feel he punished me by not picking me to play in AS for his series. It sucks big time.

Can't wait for this round to be over. I just wanna be back to dealing with my own tribe and follow the strategy I mentioned last night of bonding with one or two people from other tribes.

Had a good talk with Shawna today too so I am hoping to keep that up and my relations on my own tribe be really strong too. Maybe work on getting closer to Shawna over getting closer to Chase. We shall see.

Looked back at Season 3 quickly. Shawna and Chase were close in that season so I can probably expect them to be close again. That will now affect the get close to one of them. I'll have to suck up to both of them because they'll probably be talking and trying to figure out who they want to ally with. If I made a good impression on Chase that could explain why Shawna talked to me today. But who knows. I'll just have to keep an eye on them and also keep close to Sydney as Sydney is really wise and knows how to handle them having played with them before.
