1. There was a lot of speculation on what was gonna go down tonight. What are your thoughts on the twist? Did you expect it?
The thought of this happening crossed my mind; but I was more expecting five tribal councils. With such a large number of players in the game, cutting down the thirty-five to thirty was a much more expected result. This -almost- comes across being somewhat a relief, because now there's only one tribe that has to lose a player this early in the game.
2. What might be the basis for a vote such as this? What factors go into your decision?
There's a lot of basis that goes into this sort of vote, you can't just vote without any prior thinking. But that's every vote, and every vote should have a reason behind it. Even if that reasoning may be "As long as it's not me tonight." Which I'm sure that's what quite a bit of my fellow players are thinking.
3. 35 votes. That's quite a bit! Are you nervous it could be you for any reason?
It's been said time and time again, one should always be nervous that it could be you, and it could be you for any reason in the world. If a few people had a big enough vendetta against me, then yeah, I could be the one going home tonight. I just have to hope that the vendettas against other people are bigger.
4. Are you expecting tribes to stick together for this vote? Are you nervous it may be someone from your tribe leaving?
With the vote this early in the game, I think that the tribes will stick together for the most part. It's too early for people to start making big plays with nothing to fall back on quite yet.

I never for once considered a 35 person Tribal Council. I think it was a very creative twist for you to watch as 35 of us run around. Which when you think about it is pretty ridiculous to watch given that 34 people will be safe, and a measly one person is leaving.

I think the basis for everyone is they don't want to be down a tribe member right out of the gate. So it's about finding common ground.

Since I have captain's safety, no. But the fact that sooo many people could be voted for over yourself should make people probably less nervous than a standard Tribal Council. I think whomever leaves at this Tribal Council may not have stood much of a chance in the normal game if they get so much votes.

Like I said before, nobody wants to be down a member. So I think that is going to happen and tribes will unite for that reason.

I didn't expect it. That said, it's an interesting concept, but with thirty four other people here it's obviously impossible to know what everyone is thinking. It just made a pretty overwhelming situation even more overwhelming.

Consensus. And, even more importantly, keeping my tribe safe for the time being.

I think the twist is evil. 'nuff said? I didn't really expect this. I expected something evil out of you two, but didn't clue into this.

There are a ton of things to think about. Since it is thrown at you quickly, you have to think on your toes I guess. I am going to have to see what is best for me at this point.

I will be honest with you Lex, I did not expect to go to tribal with my group of believers for a very long time so this is definitely a surprise to me. I prayed and have stabilized my emotions. I wanted to scream when I found out but I am good now. Calmed down.

I am not here to lie. The person who is getting my vote is someone who needs to go. It is as simple as that. I have discussed it with the people I trust in the game and while things can always change I think a big time player is heading out the door.

I have talked to everyone except two people on my tribe who I could not get a hold of about what I think should happen. At the same time I am not claiming to be a false god or some Mumbo jumbo special agent wearing pink underwear so they have their own free will. I am confident that TEG will be sitting at seven members tomorrow.

It's been rough since my wife and I split up. I didn't want to come out here for a while. It reminds me of the family visit I gave up. I thank God for giving me the strength to return. |
