Seriously, a tribal swap in Episode 3? Okay, well the announcement was posted while I was asleep, I worked all day, got home and saw the tribes. And, I hate my tribe - we're going to lose and I don't feel safe at all. How's that for pessimism?

Okay, done with the pity party, lol. Sorry I was such a cranky sore loser last night.

I worked a lot on just getting the codes together for this challenge last night. I don't feel great about our results - we definitely should have had 3 people posting but there was speculation it would work best with 2...less confusion and all that. Anyway, at least we took something away from it and group 2 should all be posting: Colby, Boston Rob, Elyse. Hope they can do better than we did. There are some strong players on the other tribes for sure.

Anyway, I tried to socialize and get to know people last night and still today. I was originally thinking maybe we could form something with the girls: Candice, Alexis, Elyse and then Kourtney and I. But trying to talk with Candice and Alexis is kind of like talking to a wall. I guess I was also kind of pre-occupied but neither conversation went anywhere.

Kourtney wanted to do the challenge with Pete and then try to get him in an alliance. Then Pete couldn't be up late enough for us to get the posts ready. So, we did the challenge with Cochran and in chat, Kourtney right away suggests working together. So, right there it tells me that Kourtney is just about proposing an alliance with anyone who'll listen. That's fine but I'd rather not be so over-eager to work with "anyone" and would rather form an alliance with people I feel good about. Cochran wouldn't be bad but, from what Sydney/DD say, he doesn't seem that trustworthy. IDK though. I don't see anything horrible about him yet. He actually has more conversational ability than I originally thought. And he does remind me of Cochran in a way.

So, anyway today is a new day and I'm working on the best alliance for me. I have been talking to Colby a lot and, yes I know him from a past game and I did screw him over. Voted him out again in the same series but I never promised him anything that time and I do like him. He's easy to talk to, work with, he's active. I want to work with people I can hold a conversation with and he's someone who's fun to play with. It may come back to bite me but I have to take risks.

I asked Colby what he thought of an alliance and he was receptive - of course people usually are when you suggest that, aren't they, though? So, anyway the proposal is Colby/BRob/Kourtney and I. I know Colby & BRob are friends, they both started on the same tribe and obviously Kourtney and I did, also. So, with four of us voting the same, we could either add someone else for a voting block or just one of us sway another person. I'll ask Kourtney but I don't see why she would have a problem with it.

There's also Elyse. She's a super-strong competitor, but I also kinda screwed her (or tried to) in another game, but she admitted to not being trustworthy. I feel like she is being a little too "okay" with it, but I'd still like to have her in the game. I know people are gunning for her as a threat but, if she isn't gunning for me, and she's a target in front of me, how can that be bad? I guess if we lose and go to TC this will be a test for us - if both of us survive the vote, of course.

Ugh we lost by 10! I feel like I made a mistake by not posting last night but everyone was throwing around ideas/strategies and we thought going with 2 people may work better than three. The flood factor didn't help us but we probably could've made 11 most posts that way. I was the only one on my tribe who didn't actually post. I did make the word doc w/ all the codes for what that's worth. I mean everyone is all - thank you! thank you! but I kind of liken that to me being the one to cook and clean back at camp...and does that really get anyone anywhere? It's my OCD. Once I start something like that I just can't help but finish it!

So, this is so tricky! I mean we are basically divided into 4 pairs of former tribemates (in this game) with Alexis being the swing. I've heard she is definitely working with Pete, though so that makes Cochran/Pete/Alexis a trio. That's the most dangerous thing on this tribe imo so, if I had my druthers, it'd be one of those 3 that go. Probably Cochran since he's a self-admitted backstabber/liar! Yes, I read his season 3 pre-game Q&A in between being the hard-working mother hen today!

So, we have the 4-some made up of BRob/Colby,Kourtney & I, which I wasn't too sure of at first (because of Rob's weird comment) but am a bit more sure of now....just a little. I still think they have other closer friends on the tribe.

Then, we have the "let's work together" bond with Kourtney/Cochran and I from last night's challenge chat. That left me with a blah feeling and I figured that was just Cochran agreeing because he was confronted by the oh so cheerful Kourtney.

Then, after the results go up tonight, I'm talking to Pete and he tells me he's not voting for me because of all the work I did getting the posts ready (yeah and I have some beachfront property in Kansas I can sell you!). I was all yeah I'm not voting you either! (I would vote his ass in a second if I had the numbers.)

And then Cochran messages me (yes, getting IM'd during vote talks is a very good thing - much better than hearing crickets!) and is like what now? After all the "idk, w/e you think crap" he volunteers Pete as his loyal tribey from the former Poseidon and we're like - yay, we just need one more. He then again suggests (am I looking too suspicious at this point by not doing any of the suggesting??) we bring in either: BRob & Colby (okay sounds good) or Alexis (obviously since she's with you two 100%). I'm like that's fine. He thinks BRob & Colby cause they'll be easier to control (what is this shit?). They obviously already had a deal together and it was already a 5-some!! Also, Colby and/or BRob probably told them about our tak earlier! Also, it's because you didn't want to look like you want to bring in Alexis since she's your bud.

So, who does that leave for the vote? Obv Candice/Elyse, who I'd actually rather work with, but if we can't get a 5th person in that, what's the point? I feel like if we vote off Elyse (which is who I think is going to be suggested), I lose an ally, I'm more of a sitting duck if we go to TC again since next they'll want to break up Kourtney/I, so yeah. I want to survive but I'm not a "one TC at a time" type of person. Maybe suggesting Candice instead as Elyse could help us win challenges and we can "get her out next time" would be a good argument.

Ugh, this is exhausting! More later!!
