As much as I don't want Howard going anywhere off my TV screen, I am interested to see if the girls can really pull off controlling the house and taking most or all of the guys out without cannibalizing each first.

Bedgate 2013 was the best thing to watch. Especially Amanda calling Aaryn out <3 it was all so perfect.

Did they forbid Elissa from nominating him too? Jeesh, they're really paranoid over the possibility of a black guy leaving with Aaryn on the block next to them.
Just gotta throw it out there, Helen is a great fucking player.

I'm just gonna do a little rundown of what I think of the cast... Warning! This will contain spoilers about this week, so don't read if you only know up through Helen's HOH win!
Aaryn... is now the leper of the house! Finally. Of course, since she knows how hated she is, she's just acting like more of a bitch. I really can't stand this girl at all, and she has no shot at winning. I'm hoping she doesn't get dragged to jury but she might. She's probably safe this week though.
Amanda is fricken hysterical! She's extremely witty and pretty well positioned in the house. She has a lot of deals going on, but no one really suspects her to be wheeling and dealing as much as she is. But, people do know how smart she is, so we'll see how that affects things.
Andy is actually playing really well, despite the fact that I don't really like him. I kind of find him annoying, but he's used this week to his advantage, and I don't think he is on ANYONE's radar. Good for him - I definitely expect him to make jury.
Candice is a really smart player, but she currently has Howie blinders on. Once Howie leaves, she'll probably need a few days, but I hope she can go back to being detective Candi. She definitely has the goods to win this game - or at least make it to the end.
Elissa, in my opinion, is a better player than most give her credit for. A lot of the reason Jessie flipped last week was because Elissa and Jessie shared a bed, and at night Elissa would work on getting her to flip. I do think she's justified in feeling left out of the decision-making process of her alliance, and wants to be able to make her own MVP nominations, but I think she should have been a bit quieter about it. She really needs to stop lying about MVP though, because she does it every week despite being in a solid alliance. I kind of expect the group to ditch her once the MVP twist ends.
GinaMarie... is not really playing the game. She's well liked in the house, and people feel badly for her. But she really has no strategic game this week... or that I've seen at all. Maybe she'll step it up? IDK where she'll fall in the grand scheme of things, but she likely won't be winning.
Helen is really a great player, but she's almost too good. Or maybe that makes her bad. I don't know. Anyway she played a fucking fantastic game last week in aiding Nick's eviction and keeping her number 1 ally, and the most powerful player, Elissa, in the game. This week... she's on a bit of a power trip. She is using her HOH to figure out everything in the house, and she's just coming on a little strong. She should have layed lower this week, since her nominations were easy. Everyone's figuring out just how smart she is.
Howard is a really good liar and he's been using religion to further him in the game. Unfortunately people are catching onto his shadiness and he's a huge target in the house. I don't know how much further he'll make it unless he starts winning.
Jeremy is probably going home this week. His humility this week was surprising, but it's too little too late. Helen is on a crusade.
Jessie is very well positioned in the house right now. She flipped into the right alliance at the right time, and I'm proud of her for that. She's certainly not the biggest threat to anyone, and she's in a really strong alliance with Judd. I expect her to pretty much cruise to jury at this point.
Judd is also in a really good spot. The alliance with him and Jessie is so far off the radar because of other shwomances and more dramatic people. I expect him to make it to jury as well. Definitely a favorite of mine, too. I just wish the show didn't give him such a stupid edit.
Kaitlin has really impressed me lately. Despite being kind of a bitch, she's been amping it up in competitions and the "other side" of the house, especially Andy, likes her. Once Jeremy (and possibly Aaryn) leave the game, I expect her to blend into the woodwork. I could see her going pretty far. She's smarter than a lot of people give her credit for.
McCrae is probably my pick to win at this point. No one is against him, and Amanda is just a big old shield for him. Unless the girls really come together and go for the boys, I think McCrae is going to go super far in this game. No one is after him, and really if they even slightly are, they're way more after Amanda who can't really win comps. So yeah, McCrae is doing very well.
Spencer is meh. I really just don't like him. He's kind of at the mercy of everyone in the house, because no one but Howard truly trusts him. I don't see him making it too much further.

^ That's almost word for word how I'm feeling about this too. McCrae is also my winner pick. Likable, in a good spot, loves the game, can win comps, allies with bigger targets. I can see him getting MVP too if Elissa ever leaves before the twist ends.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Helen is a good player. I don't understand why other sites are ripping her, her strategy is great. She's not only getting out a big threat, she's setting the entire house up to target everyone else but her by making smart deals and planting seeds of doubt about other people. How she handled Howard and his lying REALLY impressed me. She took his lying and used it to her advantage rather than using it against him like almost anyone else would. It's masterful work. But oh noes! She doesn't want to Pagong the entire other alliance, that makes her an awful player! I really think Jokers needs to be nuked off the internet someday.

I agree with a lot of your assessment, DD, but I disagree about a few things.
I really like Helen and I think she is respected/well-liked in the house, but she talks way too much and needs to listen more. When people were coming up to her HOH, instead of letting them spill their guts to her, she would constantly interrupt and tell them what SHE was thinking. She is sloppy and spills information around the wrong people constantly. She left her room while Candice was in the bathroom, came back up with Jeremy and totally forgot Candice was in there, hiding and listening. Basically, she is transparent which could be good, but she is also a huge jury threat and people like Amanda and McCrae are not going to let her get close to the end if they can help it.
I love Amanda, but she has way too many deals going on. She bashes Spencer/Howard for being part of The Moving Company constantly, but she is basically doing the same thing right now by trying to stay with a "main alliance" while she and McCrae keep "fake" side alliances. Her wanting Howard out this week over Jeremy is a selfish move, which is fine, but she is being way too vocal about it. Also, thinking Helen and Elissa, the two most transparent players in the house, have a secret deal with Howard is just stupid. Howard was nice to Elissa when people like Andy were more worried about appearances and being targeted if they talked to her. Why wouldn't Elissa feel bad about nominating him? She also needs to stop treating Elissa like a second class citizen who's only purpose in the game is to do as she's told - even if that's how she really feels.
I like McCrae, too, but for such a smart guy, he needs to stop letting Amanda stick to his side like glue. They are seen as a pair and that's always dangerous, no matter what a great player you may be.
Candice is smart and very perceptive. She proved that with the way she pegged the "Boys Super Group," but she's annoying as hell. I don't think people can stand to be around her enough to let her have any serious alliances. She has some friendships but I don't think those people really want to work with her for long. She's doing well because she's on the right side of the house for now.
Howard is a horrible liar.
Kaitlin is Janelle without the charisma. People need to wake up and see that she could win her way to the end.

I'm watching the episode now. Does GinaMarie, Kaitlin and Aaryn remind anyone of Lydia and Chima when Jessie got voted out?

It's so sad that Jeremy becomes somewhat tolerable when sharing a scene with Aaryn/GM/Kaitlin
I just got to the part where Judd walks into the room to defend Jessie, and everyone starts shitting all over Judd the second he walks in. Poor Judd haha

Oh god. Howard throwing spoiled milk in Aaryn's face so blatantly might be the highlight of the season so far for me
