Hello Sausage Island. It's been a while since I last set foot on your shores. Things are a lot hotter and...redder since I last came here. The world has changed, the island has changed and I have changed.
I don't know quite where to begin. The spiritual journey I underwent was no small thing. I knew that upon losing something was wrong but I couldn't wrap my mind around how it had happened. It could only be due to a personal weakness, something which I will never tolerate.
And so began my quest to find answers. It took me to a mountain where I stood under a waterfall for days at a time, looking inside myself to see what was contained within. I then took that, removed it, and replaced it with something better. This was a painstaking process but I did it all the same.
It was during this time that I saw the vision. I knew what had gone wrong at that moment. I saw a phoenix, rising from a volcano. It's no coincidence that the volcano on this island is suddenly active. The phoenix is stirring and he grants me his power. With him, and God's hand, I will complete my mission.
What is my mission, you would be right to question? The thing which I am most remembered for of course. Slaying dragons. It turns out I was wrong when I slayed the dragon. Don't mistake me here, she was a dragon, just not the dragon.
The simple fact is that looking for one dragon is a pointless task. You expend all of your time and energy fighting it, only to come face to face with another. No, there are multiple dragons and the only way to overcome them is to balance your attacks. Slaying a dragon is a foolish endeavor, when you can slay thirty four.
Okay so that may be a slight exaggeration. Truth be known, not all of them are fully fledged dragons. Some of them are baby dragonlings that mean no real harm. Some of them have not yet become dragons, but all are transforming into them.
Dragonfire burns the air of Sausage Island and the phoenix will rise from the volcano. For dragons cannot harm the phoenix. He is born of fire. From them he derives nothing but strength. With each attack he grows stronger until he absorbs them all. Then comes retribution, as fire rains down from the sky.
It shall be done. The end is nigh. This will be no easy task, for dragons are formidable opponents when fought alone. Fighting many will prove to be the most daunting task I have ever faced. But I have trained, and I have seen my victory in the eyes of the phoenix.
The flames burn higher, and I get stronger each and every day.
