During the Captain's challenge, while everyone is crazily grabbing at sausages and trying to get to one before anyone else, Kourtney spends time thinking about the tribes. Especially once Sandra eliminates her. This confessional isn't shown on the episode.

You know, I was like sitting there thinking about what Host Lex said. He said that there would be 5 tribes of 7. So I'm like, alright, cool. Easy enough! And then I think, wait, what if it's not that simple! Because of course it's Sausage Island! I've played before. It's never that simple. So immediately I started thinking that the captains weren't really picking their tribes, but another captain's. And guess what!

Whilst the challenge is airing in the episode, Kourtney says:

"Ugh! I was sort of wanting to relive my Fans vs. Favorites life! That Captain title is so nice. But seriously, getting a grip on these sausages is so hard."

Eventually, the challenge ends and the captains are named. Kourtney has a few words to say about Wanda:

Are you kidding me? Wanda? Liver spot Wanda! She won the first challenge in Sausage Island: All Stars. Like, what?

The first episode doesn't air Kourtney much. With 35 players and big personalities, production has bigger fish to fry. Here is some of her confessional.

So we decided to name our tribe BACI! Which is awesome, there's this really awesome color we decided on. It's purple, and guess what, it wasn't even my idea! I love purple and for someone else to pick it was like, awesome. Shawna thankfully knew some Italian and decided to be cute and name our tribe Baci. Which means kisses. Or kiss. Or something! [kourtney sort of tosses her hands around in a "whatever" motion]

It was Shawna, Danielle, Sydney, and me that picked out the tribe name and color. We bonded during that! It was pretty awesome. I was already friends with Danielle and Sydney from talking with them at charity events and stuff, so that's good.

Later on in the interview.

The boys are totally gonna build us a nice shelter! [giggles]

I'm feeling so confident about Baci. We've got some of the strongest people, I think. Hopefully Neleh will wake up soon! This is easily gonna be a good tribe! Baci Baci Baci! [kourtney laughs]

Fun stuff now! So the four girls that named the tribe and stuff were talking about how everyone probably had like, 100 alliances. We were all acting like we were cleaning off our little clearing of lava rocks and whatnot, and I don't know what came over me but I said, "Are we one of them?" and they all agreed! They all said we were a really good group. Which I totally agree with!

Later on everyone was preoccupied so I was talking to Sydney and she told me that we need to make sure that we work to make no one feel on the bottom. It's ok if we hurt some people's feelings in the premerge stage, so making sure we have a good relationship with them is a really good thing to do! Especially because we can consider having a future with all of them in the game.

Either way, I'm most excited about the Baci four! I can easily seeing us sweeping the game.

DAY 2.

It's Day 2 of Sausage Island: All Stars. Each tribe has assigned themselves a color and a name, which will be announced soon. The Baci tribe has a lazy and quiet morning. Most do little things around camp to clean up and Neleh finally decides to make her presence known. Chase hasn't really said much of anything today. Sean and Kourtney talk. Kourtney and Sydney talk. Kourtney and Shawna talk. Kourtney and Danielle talk. When the early morning interview comes, the production crew at the Baci camp pulls Kourtney aside and sits her near an obsidian boulder. Lava falls from the mountain in the distance.

Today's been quiet! It's day 2... I slept well, I guess. I mean, when you're playing Sausage Island you can never really sleep good, because your mind is racing and you can't get comfortable and stuff like that. You get to a point where you go to sleep immediately when you lay down, like when you're deep in the game, but you never sleep for more than an hour at a time, so everyone is always getting up and poking the fire and stuff.

So last night when the tribes were made, Lex told us about an announcement? And honestly, I'm not sure if I'm excited for it or not, you know? Like, he said that we were gonna' be busy. Do I wanna be busy tonight? It depends. If it's what I'm thinking, then not really. And what I'm thinking is... is that it's gonna be a vote of some sort. Whether it's a 5 way tribal council, or voting someone off of your tribe to go to another one, ugh.. [kourtney eye rolls] I'm not wanting to have to deal with it on Day 2! I mean, I think we have an easy vote no matter what it is in Neleh, but I still don't want to vote someone out already.

I'm just glad right now I've found solace in the four girls! I can honestly see us going the distance if we play our cards. I don't want people to think we're together. As long as we're together on the downlow, we can make bigger "more obvious" [kourtney air quotes] alliances, right? We just need to do it in secret. And not rush anything.

Oh yeah, speaking of rushing. I'm trying to be as patient as possible this time. In my last season, I was so quick to target and I rushed everything. I'm just going to try to be as chill as possible and for the moment take it one vote at a time. Gonna stay loyal to my Baci girls and hope that they're loyal to me.
But as you guys know, I'm a villain. I'll vote for anyone if I have to! Anyway, can I go now? I need to go boil some water.

DAY 2.

The announcement of the tribal council brings everyone's jaws to the ground. Panic sets in and the gears start turning. Before long, drama has ensued. Each player gets a short confessional to spew.

Oh. My. Gosh. Like, OH MY GOSH! Aaah! [pulls hair] This is so ridiculous already. I feel like I'm in a freaking whirlpool of disaster right now. I mean.. so we're sleeping overnight together. All 35 of us. So we can discuss the vote and whatnot, right? Well the captains got together except Wanda, who was singing her stress out or something, and said that they wanted Jonas out. Meanwhile, we didn't know this and Danielle pulled Baci in with Feroca and got Sekou's name on the chopping block. This whole time I'm just like, sitting here freaking out that it'll end up being me. I mean, we told Feroca we're voting Sekou.. and now it's like... Hey! It's Round 1 - We lied!

I'm going with what the majority wants. There is no way I'm going to put my neck out there for Jonas! Yeah, he's my friend, but I know that he has more friends on his tribe. It really pains me to vote him out, but he has a tight group of four in my opinion. Everyone knows that those four hung out quite a bit outside of their seasons, and 3 of them were together in their season! And you know.. Jonas is wanting to get people to vote for Phillip as if it's his only hope. And to me, that makes me want to vote for Jonas even more. Is Phillip really going to contribute to tribal challenges? No! I doubt it. Which means that Baci will have an advantage when it comes to them.

I'm trying to make sure I know exactly what's going on, do exactly what my tribe wants, and stay out of trouble.
