NIGHT 7.
The challenge was a bomb on the Sausage Island castaways. Immediately everyone's mind starts to race over potential boots and the like. Tribes like Baci has members jump to an obvious choice - Neleh, who stood braiding her hair over her shoulder. While everyone was doing their puzzles, the people that weren't had confessional time.
Oh my gosh! Oh. My. Gosh. [kourtney puts hands on cheeks] Seriously wasn't expecting that. Which is stupid, because I shouldn't be expecting anything less, but I was just hoping it was exactly what it sounded like... a tribe average puzzle challenge. I was talking to Shawna when everyone else was doing their puzzle runs and she said that it might be best to go for Neleh. Which I agree with, because it's the obvious choice, it's not going to blunder anything up, you know. She's the best choice. Sorta sucks because she's such a doll [kourtney winks at her pun] but sometimes you've gotta do what you gotta do!
But don't fret, pets! If my alliance wants to do something else, I will. My goal in the premerge is to not make a name for myself, or at least not too big of one. I am not the top sausage when it comes to premerge this time! It's not gonna happen. I need to floooooat my way into the merge. If my alliance wants to vote out Sean or Chase, they're dumbasses, but I'll do it! Thankfully, they're not dumb and I'm pretty sure Neleh will leave in a six to one vote, so I'm really not too worried. Tribal is just an intimidating thing.. And so are all these twists! Stop them! Stop them! Stop them! [kourtney chants]
Kourtney goes back and practices her puzzles.

NIGHT 8.
At the immunity challenge, Kourtney's scores prove to be worthy of a solid 6th place. 3rd place in Baci. Spirits are high but also tense on the walk back to camp. As the sun sets, the hum of bugs rings loud but the bubbling of lava is louder. But the loudest part of the night is everyone's thoughts, which eventually fall out of the tribe's mouths.
Hi! Oh my gosh, so I was like, so good in the word search. First place baby! [kourtney holds up a celebratory one] But Sydney was second, which kept me from winning! It's okay. She's gonna share the clue and that's really all I was wanting. Everyone is always scared of having an idol but I'm not. I WANT the idol. If I have a really good guess as to what the idol is, I will take it so fast. I'll lie my little heart out and say that my guess was wrong, but in reality it'll be in my dress.
So, tribal thoughts are aplenty! Neleh finally shows up and decides that she needs to be social. And it breaks my heart that we're voting her out, because she's absolutely so sweet. Everyone else has a pretty obvious vote except for Poseidon and Tres in Gwad, Like, Phillip and Sekou are obviously leaving. At least, they better.
It's just really making me upset because Neleh is the cutest thing. But, like every other Sausage Island, you've gotta keep your tribe strong at the start. It's not about who you like and who you don't. And to keep us strong, we've got to get rid of her.
