The adventure has begun and oh what an adventure it shall be. I am oh so thrilled to have returned to the island of Sausage to once again put myself to the ultimate test. To prove that honour and integrity will triumph and to right the wrongs of my former season in which malice and deception triumphed. I shall right the wrong and redeem this island and those who compete along side me.
This journey has started of excellently. I proved myself in the opening captains challenge as a formidable leader, and have been met with nothing but respect thus far in the series. Everyone has been extremely kind and seem to really take a liking, which will do nothing but make this a more positive experience.
We were thrown a curve ball during the team selection, in which teams would be chosen differently from a standard “school yard pick”, as the mortals say. This did not bother me at all, in fact I actually preferred this method. The only castaways I knew coming into this series were those from my original series, and I did not want to play with any of them, except for Kim, but that was no longer possible due to her also being a captain. I chose Kelly as my first choice, and from there fought for contestants that I felt would create a good mix on my tribe. I ended up with Cochran, Mary, Peter, Rob and Carter in addition to myself and Kelly rounding out the tribe I aptly titled “Poseidon”. I am very pleased with how my tribe turned out. There are no big characters and we all get along very nicely to create a cohesive team.
Unfortunately, although cohesive, we lost our first challenge. This was extremely disappointing, not so much the loss, but the fact that we had to lose a member. For me this round the decision was between two candidates, either to vote out Kelly, who I saw a lot of potential in although not much had been shown thus far, or to vote out Cochran, who I also so potential in, but a negative potential. I am very wary of Cochran, I’m not sure why he is considered an All-Star, and given his status how he got about achieving it and the title “The Spider”. Although I simply do not trust Cochran, this decision was rather simple, as the tribe came to the consensus that Kelly should be the one to leave. It was a difficult vote, but I wish her the best in all her future endeavours.
While we were voting to eliminate Kelly, there was a significant amount of drama brewing on Kim’s tribe. It resulted in Rory abruptly disrespecting his entire tribe and as a result being voted out. I was not surprised by his action or the subsequent decision to have him eliminated. Since my first adventure Rory has constantly been a selfish, malicious and despicable human being. I was not surprised by the level of disrespect he offered to both his tribemates and the hosts. This is something I saw in him a long time ago and something that others were just seeing now. I always wondered how someone as disrespectful and utterly repulsive as Rory could have won the jury vote over me, and now I feel as though the people who voted for him during our adventure have finally seen the error of their ways. It is time to redeem my first experience and right this wrong.
